I'd like to recant certain heretical views
I recently expressed on the wisdom of Karl.
I've got his latest kpathsea working on Linux
and really like the resulting directory structure,
briefly
.../texmf/fonts/ams/src
/tfm
/pk
/cm/src
/tfm
/pk
and so on.
This is perfection.
